Foods 1

Foods I is designed for students who want to learn how to prepare well-balanced, nutritious and healthy meals. Students will learn the skills needed for food preparation including how to select, use, and care for cookware, tools and major kitchen appliances including the microwave oven. Students will also gain experiences working with each of the food groups through cooking labs in the classroom. There will be an emphasis on breakfast and planning a menu.
